Vetericyn, what can I say, it’s like a Macintosh computer. It just works!
Our BLM burro, Jerry, and our BLM mustang, Montana, often enjoy “horseplay.” Sometimes they get a little rough. A few weeks ago, Jerry’s right knee was cut so deeply we could see bone. We had just gotten in our first case of Vetericyn. I told myself this is the perfect opportunity to see how well it works.
I flushed the wound several times a day, for several days, and I didn’t notice any sign of infection. The gash was at least two inches long, and located in the knee area. I didn’t realize just how bad Jerry was cut until several days later when I picked up his leg to examine the wound again. As his knee bent, the wound opened, and I saw cartilage and tendons in the knee area that I couldn’t see when I first examined it. I guess the swelling had hidden the true nature of the wound.
Knowing it was too late to sew it up; I just let Vetericyn do its job. Within a few more days, a week at most, the wound had completely healed and Jerry was back to running and playing with the horses.
Not only does it work on our horses, we use it on ourselves, and our dogs. It is the best wound cleanser/dressing combination around, and it promotes healing like no other.
